荷蘭潛艦升級：Thales 將提供先進聲納系統

法國防務電子公司 Thales 獲得合約，將為荷蘭皇家海軍的虎鯨級（Orka-class）潛艦提供完整的聲納與聲學系統。

Dutch Submarine Upgrade: Thales to Provide Advanced Sonar Systems

French defense electronics company Thales has secured a contract to supply the complete sonar and acoustics suite for the Royal Netherlands Navy’s Orka-class submarines.

This contract marks Thales’s first submarine sonar order in 15 years outside its core markets of France, the UK, the US, and Australia.Emmanuel Michaud, Thales’s Vice President for Submarines and Surface Vessels, stated that these sonar systems will be based on those used in the French Suffren-class nuclear-powered attack submarines, with ongoing hardware and software enhancements.These products are already in service with the French Navy and will be further refined for the Dutch submarines.

The Dutch government previously announced the procurement of four conventionally-powered attack submarines built by France’s Naval Group, intended to replace the aging Walrus-class submarines.  These new submarines are expected to be delivered by 2034 and will be equipped with advanced sonar systems provided by Thales.
