PeoPo's annual call for proposals - Let's take care of our elderly
According to the National Development Council, Taiwan will become a super-aged society by 2025, which means the proportion of people over 65 years of age will constitute over 20% of the population. Taiwanese society must respond to many dimensions if it wishes to counter the challenges this super-aged society will pose. We have partnered with community colleges and invited citizen journalists to share their concerns on this year's PeoPo them, "Our Aging."
In addition, this year's PeoPo 30-Minutes program will also have "Our Aging" as its theme. Both community colleges and student CJs from campus media departments have been invited to provide differing perspectives on Taiwan's aging society conundrum. We hope that this year’s call for proposals on this pressing issue will attract the participation of many new citizen journalists.
