In the Songshan District of Taipei, a cat foster café has taken in over forty cats and helped more than two hundred find homes. The person quietly watching over the cats is the owner, Jessica, who first became interested in the issue of stray cats during college. Later, when the café she worked at—which also fostered cats—was on the verge of closing, Jessica couldn’t bear the thought of the cats being left homeless and decided to take over the café.
Managing the café hasn’t been easy, and there have been moments when Jessica has considered giving up. But driven by her love for cats, she has persisted. Jessica shares the love she feels from the cats with others, hoping that when customers meet them, they’ll be inspired to adopt them and give them good homes.
