未來發展方向
   至於發展方針，文建會將台南園區定位為「臺灣創意生活產業發展中心」，由於園區位於台南市中心，有多元的歷史文化及豐沛的觀光資源，園區面積雖不大，卻位居樞紐、緊鄰台南火車站，實為其具有發展潛力的關鍵。未來園區將發展作為「文化生活與產業環境之整合創新平台」，以實踐文創產業政策及提升園區之文創產業聚集效益，期能引進民間資金及企業化之經營理念，並開拓園區建築空間使用活路，驅動目前的台南府城在地生活文化元素，進而耀升為具有國際競爭力的產業。
台南文化創意產業園區擬發展具臺南獨特氛圍之臺灣創意生活與設計相關產業，未來將以其區位及資源可及性等優勢，作為展銷通路及加值交流平臺，串連台南境內以時尚、設計及數位內容產業為主的永康創意設計園區、蕭壟文化園區、總爺工藝園區等作為共生支援體系，並納入在地歷史文化、傳統工藝、觀光節慶、歷史特色街區、與近來具創新的新庶民文化能量等優勢資源，以及結合本會附屬機關館舍與區域內典藏豐富的文化館舍、多元充沛的學術人才（設計與數位內容）、在地文創業者與非營利組織等，共同建構南部區域之臺灣風格生活魅力品牌與美感設計，促進南區文創產業之有效提昇。」
