Due to the political visit of China's Taiwan Affairs Office Minister Zhang Zhijun(中國國台辦主任張志軍) Since 1949.

Die-hard Pro-Taiwan_Independance activists followed China's Taiwan Affairs Office Minister Zhang Zhijun to Taoyuan International Airport, as his 4 days visit filled with protest. Taiwan activists & civil groups were protesting against the secret meetings between China-Taiwan Affairs, which came at a time when the controversial cross-strait service trade agreement and an oversight mechanism for all cross-strait negotiations await deliberation in the legislature. Protesters strongly urged Zhang to apologize for the TAO remarks about all Chinese people deciding Taiwan's future. Not only gathered, held banners & did a sit-in, they even held a march inside the airport, & chanted:
"Taiwan to China, One State to Another!"
"Taiwan's future will decide by Taiwanese!!”
“No cross-strait negotiations be held in secret!”&“No agreements signed before legislation to monitor Taiwan-China agreement!".....

中國國台辦主任張志軍訪台4天，所到之處皆有民眾抗議，昨晚在高雄卻遇上民眾以激烈手段朝其座車潑漆、灑冥紙等，為避免再發生類似事件，張志軍今取消參訪高雄前鎮漁港、台中霧峰林家花園行程及彰化鹿港天后宮行程，與台中市長胡志強會面後提前3小時抵達桃園機場，面對媒體訪問，張略顯疲憊苦笑表示：台灣是個多元的社會，不同聲音的表現方式應由台灣民眾自己考慮，這不會是最後一次來台。

雖然張志軍已進入機場管制區，但仍有支持者及抗議民眾在二航廈3樓出境大廳內聚集，由於航警局接獲情資有民眾會到場抗議，因此於二航廈管制區內、外共部屬近2百名警力，預防民眾抗議。

警政署表示，張志軍此次行程跨越桃園縣、新北市、高雄市、臺中市及彰化縣等5個縣市，會見新北市朱市長、高雄市陳市長及臺中市胡市長等3位市長，來台4天行程共22個參訪點，全程遭遇17場次陳抗與歡迎活動，其中有50個陳抗團體或個人，計2,461人次，以及15個歡迎團體，計1,071人次，合計65個團體，共3,532人次。
