「尪」、「尪公」、「尪公祖」,
在閩南地區是用來稱呼神像盛行於福建的漳州地區
但屬於泉州府的安溪、同安南縣在鄰近漳州的地帶,
也可聽到此稱呼,如:保儀 是習慣以大夫、保儀尊王等等都是被稱為尪公的神明,
相對泉州地區而言大部分則「佛」、「佛公」來稱呼神像。
