「太魯閣族」，這個在日治時期就被歸入「泰雅族」裡的一群，終於在2004年正名成功。但是傳統文化的消逝，讓「太魯閣族」空有其名。幸好族裡有遠見的人士，在逐漸凋零的耆老口中，挖掘出珍貴的太魯閣族文化並流傳下去。
