Food and Agriculture Education in Haishan Elementary School

Food and agriculture education has been on the rise in recent years. With the passing of the Food and Agriculture Education Bill, the related discussion has gradually aroused the public's attention. Haishan Elementary School's food and agriculture program has been cultivated over many years. It incorporates classroom teaching and also many other activities around the campus to bring environmental issues into students' lives.

The word "food" in food and agriculture education refers to the understanding of agricultural food but it also increases understanding of the farming environment. However, to comprehensively cover food and agriculture education, it must also cover family education. If everyone gets the opportunity to experience food and agriculture education in an educational environment from a young age, it will make food and agriculture a lifelong learning experience.

食農教育的「食」，指的是對農業食物的了解，並且增加了對農業環境的認識。食農教育要學得完整，也必須涵蓋家庭教育，如果每一個人都可以有機會從小開始進行食農教育，在教育環境中體驗食農，將使食農成為一生受用的學習。
