The Kingdom of Pool

Taiwan has not surprisingly been named the Kingdom of Pool, with many citizens considering pool as their chosen hobby, and many Taiwanese pool players often giving outstanding performances in tournaments abroad.  Spectators will often bestow pool players with a nickname, reflecting the player’s character and style of playing.  Citizen journalists interviewed many different types of pool players, introducing many interesting players in the world of pool and taking a closer look at the current pool environment in Taiwan.

台灣被稱為是花式撞球王國，撞球運動受到許多人的喜愛，台灣的撞球選手在國際上的比賽也經常有不錯的表現。而觀眾常常會替撞球選手取綽號，這些綽號反映了選手的特色以及球風，公民記者透過訪問不同的撞球選手，帶觀眾認識各有特色的台灣撞球選手，並檢視台灣的撞球環境現況。
