Raohe Street's Langren Restaurant - A working environment created for the homeless

The Langren restaurant in Raohe Night Market is a bridge for homeless people to return to society. The canteen sells cultural and creative products and specialty snacks to help homeless employees escape the vicious circle of being marginalized by society.

The Langren restaurant provides flexible working hours for the homeless.  The restaurant pays salaries daily so that homeless people can use the money immediately. In addition to fostering economic independence, social workers also help homeless employees adapt to group life and grow together.

As a society, we have many negative stereotypes about homeless people, which create fears due to unfamiliarity. Raohe Street's Langren restaurant is attempting to tackle such stereotypes and fears. By getting homeless people to interact with customers, the restaurant hopes to help everyone think out of the box and get used to interacting with each other. Sharing our life stories helps build bridges of friendship and facilitates the gradual integration of homeless people back into society.
