Folk belief events convey regional vitality

There is a multitude of different religious ceremonies across Taiwan. Such activities express local characteristics and reveal the vitality in communities around the country. This week, two citizen journalists uploaded reports on the Hakka Yimin Festival at the Baojhong Temple in Hsinchu; the Chungyuan Pudu at Puen Temple in Dahu, Yilan; and Lukang Dizang Temple’s Water Lantern Releasing Festival in Changhua. The reports were specially recommended to everyone on PeoPo Webcast.

Thanks to the reporting of citizen journalists, we can delve deeper into customs across the country.
