One of a kind in eastern Taiwan - WildOne Wildlife Conservation Association

The WildOne Wildlife Conservation Association in Chihshang Township is the first non-profit wildlife rescue hospital in eastern Taiwan. In the past, due to insufficient resources, injured wild animals had to be sent to the west coast for medical treatment, and valuable treatment time was lost.

The WildOne Wildlife Conservation Association cooperates with the Forestry Bureau to speed up the rescue of wild animals in eastern Taiwan. Should members of the public encounter injured wild animals, it is recommended to notify the county government. In the future, the WildOne Wildlife Conservation Association intends to carry out more educational and promotional events to convey the concept of peaceful coexistence between humans and animals. Moreover, it hopes to conduct wildlife research and post-release monitoring to promote the idea of wildlife conservation and allow research and education to take a deeper hold on the east coast of Taiwan.

台灣東部唯一 野灣野生動物救援中心

  位於台東縣池上鄉的野灣野生動物救援中心，是台灣東部第一間非營利的野生動物救傷醫院，過去由於資源不足，往往要將受傷的野生動物送到西部就醫，因而錯失治療時間。

野灣野生動物救援中心與林務局合作，加速東部野生動物救援速度，民眾若有遇到受傷的野生動物，建議可以通報縣政府。未來，野灣野生動物救援中心希望能夠進行教育推廣，傳達人類跟動物和平共處的理念，並且進行野生動物研究以及野放追蹤，持續推廣野生動物保育觀念，讓研究和教育在東部深耕。
