People must unite to fight the epidemic

The recent COVID-19 epidemic has spread like wildfire around the globe. However, the response to the epidemic is not just the responsibility of the government, with community organizations also playing a vital role. In addition to assisting in keeping communities safe and orderly, community organizations must also continually remind people about the importance of cooperating with the government's basic epidemic prevention measures.

Shanjiao Community Care Center in Longjing plays a vital role in community cohesion. However, with the majority of attendees advanced in years, many planned activities and courses have been cancelled. Compared to the situation before the epidemic, when locals enthusiastically attended the center's many activities, the place currently appears rather deserted.

Though increasingly strict anti-epidemic measures will no doubt cause a lot of inconvenience to everyone's life, from the community level upwards, the public is reminded of the importance in continuing to wear masks and diligently wash hands.
