Migrant workers guard against Covid-19
With the Covid-19 epidemic gradually heating up and some migrant workers catching the infection recently, many migrant workers have expressed concern about the epidemic. At the same time, however, some workers say they aren’t too worried. Brendyl, a family caregiver who came from the Philippines just over a year ago, mentioned that her employer has provided her with masks and liquid antiseptic. She knows the importance of protecting herself during this epidemic to ensure she can continue caring well for her client.
In addition, St Christopher‘s Church on Zhongshan North Road is a place where many migrants used to worship during the weekend holidays. However, due to the spread of the Covid-19 virus, the chapel is currently closed to avoid group meetings. Whether you’re Taiwanese or a foreign migrant who has come to work in Taiwan, it's essential that everyone takes preventative measures during this serious epidemic. To beat this epidemic, we must rely on the collective spirit of everyone who lives on this land.
