Horses assist with education and treating illnesses

With the help of teachers and parents, a child with autism has seen gradual improvement through professional equine-assisted therapy. Seeing her go from resistance to full cooperation has been a highly gratifying experience for parents and teachers alike.

In Taiwan, only a handful of people are engaged in professional equine-assisted therapy. Despite this, they strive to improve themselves and overcome problems to provide better care and ensure equine-assisted therapy continues long into the future.

Established for many years, the Therapeutic Riding Centre of Taiwan (馬術治療中心) hopes to provide similar opportunities to kids in many more corners of society and unleash their potential. The center strives to share its core belief that each and every individual is valuable and deserves a chance to dream.

在台灣，專業在馬術治療的人力不多，他們需要不斷的精進自己、不斷克服各種難題，提供更好的照護，讓馬術治療能長遠經營下去。

馬術治療中心創辦多年，就是希望在社會上有更多角落的孩子可以透過這樣的一個機會去嘗試更多的可能性，讓更多人看到每個人都有價值，每個人都會有希望，那是他們一直以來存在的一個信念。
