Handcrafted dream furniture keeps traditional woodworking alive

The sound of sawing and banging drifts through the deep mountains of Linkou - this is the first experimental woodworking school in Taiwan. With no class schedule and no established courses, students work at their own pace. This unique method of teaching has attracted many people with an interest in woodworking to come along and sign up.

Coming from diverse backgrounds and social status, the majority of course participants have no experience in carpentry; despite this, they all have a passionate interest in woodworking. Handcrafting your dream piece of wooden furniture by the sweat of your own brow has special meaning. By cultivating more people who are passionate about woodworking, the Experimental Woodworking School hopes to not only keep traditional furniture making and woodworking culture alive but also provide a space for students to exchange ideas and generate different life values.

林口的深山傳來了陣陣鋸木敲擊的聲響，這是臺灣第一所木工實驗學校，沒有課表也沒有既定的課程，全由學員們安排自己的進度，特殊的教學方式，吸引了許多對木工有興趣的人前來報名。
