Have you ever considered making cards or coasters with old tickets, milk cartons, or flyers? Despite the gradual decrease in paper use, Li Meng-shu (李孟書) is determined to help people rediscover the charm and beauty of paper. On Li’s courses, adults and kids alike learn how to create handmade cards and coasters from paper pulp derived from recycled paper items.

Actually, it’s not difficult to produce handmade paper and many everyday paper items and fibers can be used as source materials. However, Li Meng-shu has taken papermaking to a new level by injecting a tactile quality into her work. Her courses deliver a hands-on experience that leaves lasting memories and rekindles the charm of paper.
