21st Campus Editors-in-Chief Meeting – Colleges engage in lively exchange

The 21st Campus Editors-in-Chief Meeting was held at PTS on November 23rd. This year, the editors-in-chief from fifteen mass communications departments brought their most exceptional video reports to participate in the competition. The colleges ranked each other according to topicality, audio-visual skill and narrative structure, and selected the best three video reports.

In the afternoon, the editor-in-chief of each college took to the stage to introduce production methods at their campus media center and exchange experience in filming and broadcasting. A short time after, students were given the opportunity to watch the filming of PeoPo News and got to anchor a mock show, in which they read their own news report. Despite being only a short one-day exchange activity, the editors-in-chief all reaped a rich harvest.

Empowering students to get out of the campus and into the community is a key long-term goal of PeoPo’s campus news centers. By encouraging students to report on social issues and stories that matter in the community, news reports from the unique perspective of student CJs are beginning to gain traction in society.

第21屆校園採訪中心總編輯會議11月23日在公共電視舉辦，這次來自15所學校傳播學系的總編輯各自帶來自己系上最優秀的影片參與競賽交流。各校依照議題性、影音技術及敘事結構相互評比，選出最優的前三名和佳作的影片。

下午時間由各校總編輯上台介紹校園媒體產製新聞的模式，並交流拍攝製播經驗。緊接著同學們來到攝影棚內觀賞公民新聞報的錄影現場，並親自上場體驗當主播錄製自己的新聞，透過短短一天的交流活動，也讓各校總編輯得到滿滿的收穫。

走出校園社區全記錄一直是PeoPo校園採訪中心所期盼，鼓勵每位同學都能記錄觀察身邊的感動故事以及公共議題，也讓有學生觀點的公民新聞有了更多展現的機會。
