Denggong’s happy healthy food
At 7 o'clock in the morning, before school students begin class, the dietitian and kitchen ladies at Denggong Elementary School are already hard at work checking and preparing ingredients that, come lunchtime, will satiate the bellies of 1600 children.
Despite the relatively higher cost and additional preparation time in setting up a kitchen to cook fresh food, hearing children state how much they look forward to eating a fresh, nutritious lunch each day makes everything worthwhile. The nutritionist and kitchen ladies are working hard to continually improve the dishes so that every teacher and student can enjoy a delicious lunch each day.

早上7點鐘,小學生還沒開始上課,鄧公國小的營養師與廚房阿姨們早已上工,反覆檢查午餐的食材,並熟練的預備每一道菜的份量,嚴格的把關都為了餵飽1600位小朋友的肚子。
自設廚房的成本比較高,也花上許多時間準備,但是許多小朋友表示每天都會期待營養午餐吃什麼。營養師與廚房阿姨們努力把菜色做得更好,讓每位師生都吃得安心又開心。
