Huagu Tile House

This year’s Hakka Huagu Arts Festival brought the streets of Hsinchu’s New Tile House in the Hakka Cultural Reserve District alive with a carnival atmosphere. In spite of the strong winds, 20 art troupes took to the streets displaying vivid costumes and creative decorations, which included not only traditional Hakka clothing, San Tai Zi, and countless masks but also drum dance, modern dance and lion dance programs. However, the troupes that attracted the most attention were from the Japanese prefectures of Aomori and Kōchi, as well as the South Pacific Island’s Dance Group, which infused an exotic flavor into Huagu Arts Festival.

花鼓瓦屋

新竹縣舉辦客家花鼓藝術節，於新瓦屋客家文化保存區進行踩街嘉年華。雖然風很大，20個藝術團體以鮮豔的服飾和創意装扮，例如傳統的客家衣著、三太子與各種面具，演出花鼓舞、現代舞與舞獅等節目。遊行隊伍中，最引人注目的，是來自日本青森縣和高知縣的兩個藝術團，以及南太平洋群島文化表演藝術團，為新瓦屋花鼓節增添了一些異國風情。
