Banana sports competition!

Last year, the price of bananas soared as a result of three typhoons. Recently, we entered the banana season and the prices have gradually gone back to normal. However, the media are reporting that the Agricultural and Food Agency is predicting a collapse in the banana price once the main harvest season begins. In response, members of the public have organized a “banana competition,” in the hope of getting advance purchases for bananas. The Social Enterprise Department at Fu Jen Catholic University, College of Management was involved in launching the event, with students helping to establish an online pre-order page and online group to connect with citizens and companies interested in helping out.

去年因為三個個颱風重創，香蕉價格一直處在高檔。最近進入產期，香蕉價格逐漸回穩。但媒體報導農糧署官員預估到了盛產期，香蕉價格將會大跌。有民間人士發起香蕉運動會，希望展開香蕉的預購活動。輔大社會企業研究所也參與香蕉運動會的發起，透過社企所的學生協助，建立網路預購單與網路通訊群組，串連熱心民眾與企業。
