Organic thinking of singer and photographer creates new values for living and farming

Located in Pingtung’s Senlin Road, a group of youngsters at Three Roads Farmers’ Hall (三線路小農講堂), which is a part of Three Roads Thought Nest (三線路思巢), has been recording and sharing the collective history of Pingtung’s people. Lecturer Jiang Yu-de (江昱德), who used to work as a wedding photographer, has been dedicating himself to teaching photography in rural primary schools. He hopes that integrating his professional work with education can help stimulate more imagination and creativity in kids. Lecturer Wu Yong-sheng (吳永勝), an organic farmer that has also released songs, brings together the seemingly unrelated yet stylish combination of music and agriculture, the juncture of which produces some colorful sparks.

Through their talks, it is clear that Pingtung is home to a passionate group of people silently working to improve agricultural produce, the land and bring about a change in ideas. What’s more, the group’s willingness to spend time in sharing personal experiences and expectations through seminars, lectures are various other means, is gradually improving Pingtung’s agricultural competitiveness and practices.

位於屏東市區林森路的巷弄內的「三線路思巢」，有一群年輕人透過「三線路小農講堂」紀錄並分享著屬於屏東人的共同記憶。講師江昱德，是曾擔任婚紗公司攝影師、現在致力於偏鄉小學的攝影教師，期盼能將專業結合教育讓孩子們有更多的想像和創意。講師吳永勝，是有機農夫也是發片歌手，音樂和農業，兩項看似不相干卻又優雅結合，當它們相遇，也會激盪出繽紛的火花。透過這些講座，讓我們知道在屏東有一群人默默的在為農產品、土地與理想燃燒熱情，也願意花時間分享自我經驗與期許，以不同的研討和講座模式，一步步提升屏東農業的競爭力與踏實感。
