I trust all is well Tian Liao Yang!

In March 2010, the Executive Yuan passed the “Improving People’s Life Program”. With a section of the project including landscape improvement on the Northeast coast, Tian Liao Yang (田寮洋) in New Taipei City’s Gongliao District was earmarked to be developed into a “residential zone”. In August 2010, however, contractors announced that Tian Liao Yang was an area apt to flooding, and therefore would not be included in the land expropriation zone.

Though the threat of land expropriation was only a short-lived, it caused an extreme level of disturbance to local residents. Fortunately, once the disturbance calmed, the life of farmers in Tian Liao Yang slowly returned to normal, again farming the two strips of land between the Gongliao - Fulong railway line.

2010年3月行政院經建會通過「改善庶民生活行動方案」，其中促進東北角景觀改善計畫裡，新北市貢寮區的「田寮洋」計劃開發為「住宅區」。2010年8月營建署宣佈田寮洋為易淹水地區，不會納入徵收範圍。雖僅是幾個月的短命徵收計劃，當時仍帶來在地民眾極度驚擾不安，所幸紛擾過後，幾年下來田寮洋農民依舊在位於貢寮和福隆間的鐵道兩旁安居耕作。
