B.-P.’s Last Message to Scouts
My dear Scouts,
If you have ever seen the play ‘Peter Pan’ , you will remember how the Pirate Chief was always making his dying speech because he was afraid that possibly when the time came for his to die. It is much the same with me; and so , although I am not at this moment dying, I shall be doing so one these days, and I want to send you a parting word of goodbye.
Remember, it is the last you will ever hear from me-so think it over happy a life, and I want each of you to have as happy a life too.
I believe God put us in this jolly world to be happy and enjoy life. Happiness doesn’t come from being rich, nor merely from being successful in your career; nor by self-indulgence. One step towards happiness is to make yourself healthy and strong while you are a boy, so that you can be useful and so can enjoy life when you are men.
Nature Study will show you haw full of beautiful and wonderful things God has made the world for you to enjoy. Be contented with what you have got and make th e best of it; look on the bright side of things instead of the gloomy one.
But the real way to get happiness is by giving out happiness to other people. Try and leave this world a little bit the better than you found it, and went your turn comes to die you can die happy in feeling that at any rate you have not wasted your time but have done your best.
‘Be Prepared’ in this way to live happy and to die happy and God help you to do it. Stick to your Scout Promise always-even after you have ceased to be a boy.

以下點備註請您在填寫前必須瞭解： 1.本團服務員均為義務職，本身白天都有工作，通知觀摩時間只會利用晚上，請務必留家裏電話，且報名後，請記得跟家中成員告知一聲，避免打去被誤認為詐騙電話。 2.因團部若以市話打行動電話進行通知，其相關通信費用會很昂貴，故若只留行動電話做為唯一的聯絡管道時，將不會給任何的通知。 中華智仁勇獅子童軍團簡介 成立時間：民國４５年８月２６日 活動地點：國立台灣大學校本部工學院及學生活動中心附近（例行性活動） 活動時間：每隔週之週日下午（實際狀況以活動通知為準） 招收團員時間：每年２次，分別為４月及１０月，並於３月及９月觀摩 入團程序：先填寫新團員報名表登記，每年２月底及８月底依各團空出名額聯絡，通知次月某次團集會觀摩（無法聯絡上或未參加觀摩者視同放棄資格），觀摩當日填寫入團申請書，並於入團月之團集會報到及繳費 各團例行性活動時間：稚齡童軍（實足年齡６歲至８歲）：下午２：００至３：３０（家長須陪同活動）幼 童 軍（實足年齡８歲至１１歲）：下午２：００至４：００幼女童軍（實足年齡８歲至１１歲）：下午２：００至４：００童 子 軍（實足年齡１１歲至１５歲）：下午２：００至５：００女 童 軍（實足年齡１１歲至１５歲）：下午２：００至５：００ ◎其他年齡（１５歲以上）請詢問本團團部 備註1：家長如自願加入服務員行列，子女可不受人數限制優先入團，詳情請洽團部備註2：本團原名『台北市中央獅子會童軍團』，９５年８月２７日起啟用新團名 『中華智仁勇獅子童軍團』 本團團址：台北市１０３大同區承德路三段１０號４０３室電子郵件：leoscouts.group@leoscouts.tw 電話：02-25933788 傳真：02-25976295 網址：leoscouts.tw
