流通於國際的中華民國R.O.C護照到底有幾種版本，
讓國外的海關傻傻分不清楚，民眾入境與出境都遭到攔查
，並要求出示身分證。
中華民國護照依年分有不同的外觀，舊版的護照上沒有加註TAIWAN字樣，
海關搞不清楚是中國還是台灣，讓台灣旅客飽受困擾。
就算出示身分證，國內的身分證件上也沒有任何英文標示，更沒有台灣字樣
外國海關還是看不懂，最後民眾拿出三種不同的護照向海關說明，
才化解無法出入境的危機。
