Young Lai The Bus Enthusiast

 
Young Lai, who suffers from autism, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and is scared of crowds, has an incredible passion for buses. In order to realize his dreams he is willing to push himself to break through many mental barriers. Young Lai isn’t perfect but he has one very special skill, his passion for anything related with buses. He draws out buses to scale and aiming for perfection, painstakingly cuts them out to build the model buses – at each and every step he is extremely meticulous. He has even gone so far as to go out to inspect the buses on route, and whilst eating must have his bus notebook at hand to browse through. As far as young Lai is concerned, Taipei’s transport system is simply too small now and he has made plans to go and inspect the bus route systems of both Tokyo and Seoul.

公車迷小賴 (公民記者 淡江大傳(TKTV) 報導)

有一位熱愛公車的大男孩小賴，因為患有強迫症及自閉症而害怕接近人群，但為了他的興趣，他很努力在突破心理障礙，只希望實現他對公車的夢想。雖然小賴並不 完美，但他卻有一個專長，就是熱愛與公車有關的事物，他按照比例去製作公車模型，一刀一刀照著畫好的輪廓慢慢剪，要求完美、每一個細節都不馬虎。小賴甚至 還實地去考察公車路線，連吃飯都要看著自己的公車筆記。對熱愛公車的小賴來說，台北的公車系統已經不足以滿足他了，未來他更希望去東京及首爾考察當地的交通。
