Houtong Cat Village: A health crisis in Cat Paradise

Houtong Cat Village is one of Taiwan's most famous cat-watching spots. Home to hundreds of cats, it has earned the name Cat Paradise. Far from the hustle and bustle of the city, the natural surroundings are perfect for animals to live in, and because of the number of cats here, it has become a must-visit pilgrimage for cat lovers.

However, for the sake of the ecology and the health of the cats, we need to start using other ways to get closer to the cats instead of luring them with snacks. Only then can we reduce the amount of garbage produced, preserve a quality living environment, and ensure "Cat Paradise" continues to live up to its name.
