Brother A-Zhong – Helping to Build a Richer Danshui

One eccentric local artist from Dan-shui, A-Zhong, has been using black and white photography to record the life of his beloved town for many years. A-Zhong opened a cultural photography shop presenting his wonderful black and white snaps to passing tourists, and provides a free postcard to all young elementary students allowing them to write their postcard in the shop and send it to their teacher from the purpose built postbox outside. A-Zhong hopes that those visiting Danshui are not merely left with memories of food and drink but with something deeper which they can cherish for many years.

一個淡水的在地人阿忠哥，長期用相機將自己心中所看到的淡水，用黑白照片一張張的紀錄下來。他開設了一家文化影像館，把拍攝的淡水照片全都集結在此，有藝術家性格的他也是一位很另類的老闆，他讓來到這家影像館的小學生，有一個福利，就是可以獲得一張免費的明信片，在店內寫好之後投入店門口的郵筒，寄給自己的老師。阿忠哥希望大家想到淡水，不只是吃吃喝喝的記憶，還有著更深刻的回憶。
