PeoPo Online Campus Editors-in-Chief Meeting - inspecting and learning from each other's work
PeoPo Citizen Journalism Platform cooperates with campus media departments across Taiwan to hold an inter-campus editors-in-chief meeting every semester. Because of the current worsening pandemic situation, many universities have shut down classes and switched to online teaching. Therefore, this semester's campus editors-in-chief meeting was scaled down. Each university presented a report, and the editors-in-chief competed online to select the top three videos and two "honorable mentions."
With the recent expansion in the scale of the pandemic and the number of confirmed cases rising every day, we wish to remind all our citizen journalists to take precautions when conducting interviews and reporting - perhaps switching to online reporting would reduce close and prolonged contact with people. We hope that the pandemic in Taiwan will soon pass, and that life returns to normal as quickly as possible.
