Oasis in the city – Heart Valley

Taichung’s Heart Valley covers an area of more than three hectares and is the first “U-shaped” recreational greenspace for city residents in Taiwan. With a lake, red maple trees, green lawns, and observation bridges, Heart Valley is not only an important greenspace and ecological zone in the city, but also provides drainage during typhoons and heavy rains and helps to adjust air quality. The founding concept of Heart Valley was to put people first, while respecting nature and cultural diversity. The overarching aim is to motivate people to ponder the idea of coexistence with all living things and promote equal treatment and care for the natural environment.

At present, the pandemic in Taiwan has slowed down, and Heart Valley is finding new direction. Many friends and experts in the industry have willingly lent a helping hand, giving encouragement and support to Heart Valley to continue overcoming hurdles and improving.

城市中的綠洲 秋紅谷新地標

  台中秋紅谷占地3公頃多，是全台首座「下凹式」的生態公園，擁有湖泊、紅樹、綠草坪、觀景橋，兼具景觀、生態、滯洪、排水與調節空氣品質等功能。心之谷教育園區創辦理念是希望以人為本、以自然為尊、以文化多樣性為依歸，引導大家去思考宇宙萬物共生共榮的概念，進而學習平等地對待他人、愛護自然生態環境。

  目前臺灣的疫情已經趨緩，心之谷在營運上也找到了一些新的方向，很多業界的朋友及專家們都願意伸出援手來當救援部隊，給予心之谷鼓勵和支持，讓心之谷能夠很順利的一關闖過一關走到現在，慢慢漸入佳境。
