Baseball provides a light of hope for youngsters

he Southern Tainan section of TFCF (南台南家扶中心) was established in 1966 to assist children who have experienced life upheavals or family difficulties. Providing counseling from social workers, schoolwork tutoring, etc., TFCF creates a healthy, financially stable environment to aid the emotional & social development of children.

In the scorching summer vacation, the Southern Tainan section of TFCF held a graduation baseball game for seniors entering high school. The game helped build the children's self-confidence and provided a perfect ending for their time at TFCF. The baseball team has helped many children become better people, some of whom, due to their love of the sport, have chosen to continue pursuing a path in baseball. Seeing the children express such gratitude for the help they have received and how much they cherish their time at TFCF is a fantastic achievement for the organization.

南台南家扶中心成立於民國五十五年，目的在於協助因遭遇變故或家庭發生困難的孩童，利用社工陪伴輔導、課業輔導等多項協助，使這些孩童能夠維持健康、經濟、成長多面向的穩定發展。。

在炙熱的暑假，南家扶為即將踏入高中的學長們，舉辦一場畢業球賽，透過比賽方式建立孩童們的自信心，更重要的是為他們在南家扶的這段日子劃下一筆完美的句點。棒壘隊的成立使許多孩童改正原本的處事方式，也有孩童因熱愛棒球而選擇繼續往棒球的路上奔跑，這些在棒壘隊所學到的改變，孩童們既是感恩更是珍惜，也是南家扶中心所樂見的成果。
