Toushe Village in Nantou focuses on sustainable tourism

Located in Yuchi Township, Nantou County, Toushe is home to a rich ecology and cultural landscape, including a living peat soil basin known as "Mambo Field (曼波田)". As the reputation of Toushe has gradually increased, many villagers have also begun promoting the area’s natural ecological resources to develop local tourism and revitalize rural settlements.

At present, Toushe has two significant areas of leisure tourism - firsthand ecological experiences and guided tours. The area boasts rich natural scenery, such as Taiwan's unique Kusano willow tree species, a special floating field culture, and an orange daylily zone. At the same time, in the hope of promoting itself in a planned and effective way, Toushe Community Development Association has started building a consensus among local businesses to discuss the integration of tourism development and scenic spots.

南投頭社村永續觀光成重點

位於南投縣魚池鄉的頭社社區，孕育著豐富的生態與人文景觀，其中有「曼波田」之稱的泥炭土活盆地。因為頭社的知名度逐漸提高，許多村民也開始藉由自然生態環境資源的特色，從事開發當地的旅遊事業，將農村典型聚落活化再生。

目前，頭社共有兩大觀光休閒旅遊區域，均以生態體驗與導覽為主要觀光發展項目，擁有台灣特有樹種水社柳、特殊的浮田文化以及金針花園區等自然風光。同時，頭社社區發展協會也將著手取得業者之間的共識，商討觀光發展的路線與景點之間串聯的整合，期望能達到有規劃的有效推廣。
