Kindhearted donations assist disadvantaged groups

Wanhua's Gutter2ndChance (大水溝二手屋) is a member of the non-profit organization Do You A Flavor(人生百味). Zhang Gui-zhi (張貴智) often receives second-hand goods from kindhearted people. However, despite the large volume of items, many goods are often unsuitable for the needs of economically disadvantaged people. Rather than allowing the public's generously to go to waste, Zhang Gui-zhi opened Gutter2ndChance so that everyone can buy second-hand goods at an affordable price.

However, batch after batch of donated goods requires a considerable amount of human resources to clean, price, and organize, so Gutter2ndChance employs people from disadvantaged families and single mothers requiring flexible working hours. This part-time work is a valuable source of income, helping many people to make ends meet. Employees are also allowed to take their children to play at the second-hand shop so that moms can keep an eye on their kids while working.

  萬華大水溝二手屋是非營利機構人生百味的成員，張貴智時常收到熱心民眾寄來的善心物資，但因為物品數量大、品項又多，導致有些經濟弱勢者收到不符合自身需求的物品，造成善心資源在無形中被浪費，於是他經營二手屋，讓所有人都能以經濟實惠的價格，購買到自己需要的二手物。

  一批又一批的善心物資，需要依靠許多人力做清洗、標價和整理，於是大水溝二手屋把這些分類工作交給貧窮家庭的成員和單親媽媽，也因為工時彈性，很多媽媽可以去其他地方兼職，賺更多錢來維持經濟收入，同時也開放員工帶小孩子到二手屋玩，讓媽媽們在工作的同時，也能照顧到小孩子的成長。
