Luzhu’s young baseball team strike their way to higher things

"Luzhu Bats" is the first youth baseball team in Luzhu, Taoyuan. For children, teammates are more than just buddies, providing camaraderie and brotherhood. Playing baseball is not just about training the body, but also a great way to cultivate team spirit and get used to working with others. Wearing identical jerseys, cropped pants and stockings, adds to the sense of team belonging.

Just like these children in their formative years, the Luzhu Bats is gradually developing. These boys, whose average age is less than ten years old, are passing on the special passion for Taiwan's national sport of baseball. With feet anchored firmly in their hometown of Luzhu, ball by ball, the boys are blasting their passionate baseball soul high into the sky in the hope of a better future.

「蘆竹蝙蝠」是桃園蘆竹地區的第一支幼兒棒球隊，對孩子們來說，隊友不僅只是好夥伴，更是情同親手足的好兄弟，打棒球也因此不只是體能上的訓練，更是培養團隊合作精神，以及熟悉團體生活的的好所在，所有人穿著特製且同樣的球衣、七分褲及長襪，更讓他們增添了團隊的認同歸屬感。

如同這些正處發育期的孩子一樣，蘆竹蝙蝠隊現在也在逐漸茁壯成長，這群平均年齡只有不到十歲的男孩們，正傳承著台灣人對國球棒球的特殊感情，他們從蘆竹在地揮棒出擊，將屬於他們的熱血棒球魂轟向天際。
