Taipei's secret yo-yoing base of operations

Have you ever played with a yo-yo? What is your impression of yo-yos? There is a group of young yo-yo aficionados in Taiwan still passionate about yo-yo culture. Making up about one-third of all remaining yo-yoers in Taipei, the group, which includes everything from high school students to university graduates, regularly gather in a Taipei basement to hone their skills and exchange ideas.

Although yo-yoing is not as popular as it used to be, the humble yo-yo still means the world to yo-yo enthusiasts. Each yo-yoer uses his or her unique way to demonstrate their love of yo-yoing. Though many have encountered difficulties in the pursuit of their yo-yo dreams, they nevertheless strive forward, hoping that one day they will achieve yo-yo success and make a name for themselves in the world of yo-yoing.
