全台灣唯一碳酸鹽泉

瑞穗溫泉，又稱外溫泉，西元1919年，日人已開發為警察招待所，建有公共浴場，名滴翠閣。
泉質：全台灣唯一碳酸鹽泉，含豐富鐵質，泉溫48度。
顏色：遇空氣氧化後，呈淡黃色濁色，略有鹹味及鐵鏽味。
泉水湧出於紅葉溪下游，虎頭山麓，泉周林木森蔚，風景優美，和紅葉溫泉，內溫泉，為昔日花蓮八景之一，名紅葉尋蹊。
這裡的溫泉是氯化物碳酸泉，含有豐富的鐵質，帶有鹹味和鐵鏽味，看起來濁濁的，洗後光滑但不油膩，所以被稱為(溫泉中的溫泉)！
The hot spring here is carbonate chloride springs being rich with iron, tasting of salt and rust, and looking, murky.
Actually, that’s caused by the salt crystals on the water’s surface.
After bathing, it leaves your skin feeling smooth and velvety without being sticky or greasy at all. It is also believed to benefit the skin and relieve tension, so it has become known as the “hot spring among the hot springs!”
