Technology executive’s ice cream start-up ameliorates agricultural woes

Tang Yuan-you (湯元佑) gave up a 17-year managerial position in the technology industry and jumped headfirst into the world of ice cream. Seeing the difficulties farmers face due to the short shelf life of agricultural products, Yuan-you began cooperating with small farmers to develop a made-to-order, fresh ice cream business. Yuan-you's healthy, delicious ice cream made from all-natural ingredients is helping to reduce the financial burden of storage on small farmers and ameliorate the problem of produce surplus.

Tang Yuan-you said he inadvertently helped his local church design an ice cream product after seeing they were short of funds to build a new church. Though starting any enterprise is a tough and tiring endeavor, Tang Yuan-you is always mindful of his original aspiration to connect his business with his faith and give back to society. He hopes to find an outlet for small farmers and spread the gospel by producing ice cream infused love that not only tantalizes your taste buds but also touches the heart.
