Witnessing the massive amount of food and resources wasted all the time, Taiwan Food Bank Association decided to launch an initiative in which foodstuffs are meticulously collected and sorted before being delivered to people in need.

Overly focusing on freshness and the appearance of food, or downright greed, all contribute to waste. By paying more attention to our everyday decisions, we can avoid squandering valuable resources. For example, when eating your school lunch or a buffet, taking your fill and no more can significantly reduce the amount of food waste.

In addition to helping people, Taiwan Food Bank Association is also actively promoting many food-savvy ideas. By reusing food, we can ensure that many people living in the margins of society can get a warm meal in their belly each day. If we could all muster a little more empathy and love, many more people in need could receive the help they need.
