Comic tour of Taiwan – Enjoying the stories of Taiwan

Any mention of comics and we immediately think of Japan, but in fact, many grassroots cartoonists in Taiwan sketch stories that present the history, customs, and myriad faces of life in Taiwanese society, providing a way to have fun and learn at the same time.

In addition to many old cartoonists in Taiwan, there is also a new generation of cartoonists who need a stage to present their creative works depicting the history and culture of Taiwan.

This year is also the 20th anniversary since the release of Grandma and Her Ghosts (魔法阿嬤), which brought to light the culture of spirit mediums and parenting issues. With so many Taiwanese cartoonists doing their utmost to present top quality comics to everyone, hopefully, when people have some free time, they will ponder the deeper meaning inherent in comics.

一提到漫畫就會想到日本，但其實臺灣也有許多漫畫家在地深耕，用筆畫勾勒臺灣的歷史和習俗，將故事呈現在漫畫上，道盡社會的人生百態，在休閒娛樂之餘也可以從中學習。

臺灣其實也有很多老漫畫家，然後現在有新生代的漫畫家，他們需要舞台以漫遊臺灣，臺灣歷史、人文的部分為主題讓他們去接觸。

今年也是魔法阿嬤上映第二十周年，它也帶領我們了解乩童文化和教養問題，無論何時臺灣許多的漫畫家都竭盡所能把最好的漫畫呈現給大家，也希望大家在放鬆休息時想想漫畫背後的意涵。
