PeoPo Training Workshop – News through the eyes of the youth

Each summer, PeoPo Citizen Journalism Platform holds two training workshops for college students interested in video journalism. The workshops attract students from the gamut of academic disciplines including journalism and mass communication. PeoPo's exciting series of courses rapidly bolster the students' basic skills and equip them with the video production know-how to produce top-notch two-minute reports.

On the 2nd consecutive weekend of the four-day training course, students made high-quality video reports and got the opportunity to anchor and present their own news stories in the studio. PeoPo hopes that this new battalion of citizen journalism foot soldiers fresh out of this year’s summer training workshops will go on to exert their influence long into the future, reporting on grassroots issues from their own unique perspectives.

PeoPo實習營 呈現年輕人觀點報導

每年暑假PeoPo公民新聞平台都會舉辦兩個梯次的暑期實習營，吸引全台傳播科系與非傳播科系對影音新聞有興趣的同學前來報名參與。為了讓同學們在短時間內擁有新聞報導與製作的能力，PeoPo設計了一系列精彩的課程，教導同學們如何扎實自己的基本功，做出一則二分鐘的精彩報導。

透過短短四天的課程訓練，同學們在第二週就製做出優質的公民報導，並進到攝影棚內體驗當主播，播報自己的新聞。經過這一個月的暑期實習營隊，帶給同學滿滿的收穫。期盼這群公民新聞生力軍，未來能夠持續發揮影響力，報導出屬於自己觀點的公民新聞。
