Yunlin’s little carers join hands in a show of love
Facing the pressing issues of a low birthrate, aging, and changing family types, the "Long-term Care 2.0 Little Carer One-Day Camp" tries to teach children to be caring and considerate individuals. The program aims to help kids understand the government’s long-term elderly care program so that the concepts of care and dementia are rooted in children from a young age, and, ultimately, foster a spirit of giving back to society.
Thanks to the hard work of rural associations for the elderly and urban associations for woman and children, kids from both the countryside and cities have been able to get close to the elderly, accompany the elderly, care for the elderly, and integrate with the elderly. Organizers fully believe that seniors live longer, happier lives with kids by their sides and hope the program will inject new vitality and strength into the field of elderly care, while at the same time, helping kids to understand the disparity in resources between urban and rural areas.
