Musical Instrument Bank helps rural kids realize their dreams
Do you have any instruments lying around your home that you aren't using? Now, perhaps there's an opportunity to give a new lease of life to such items. With the aim of giving children more access to music and rebalancing disparities between urban and rural children, the Ministry of Education’s Musical Instruments Bank provides a platform for the public to donate musical instruments and presents these instruments to schoolchildren in rural areas.
Musical instruments donated to the platform may have been damaged due to collision or moisture during use. Repair and maintenance are essential in restoring the appearance and function of such instruments to their original appearance. After repairs and maintenance have been carried out, the instruments take on a whole new look and are dispensed to rural schools in need. The Musical Instruments Bank is spreading the spirit of cherishing possessions and promoting music education through the gift of musical instruments.
