語言是傳承文化不可或缺的因素，然而，在現代發展下，台灣原住民文化受到都市文明的衝擊，人口稀少的鄒族，更在語言方面受到極大影響。為了緩解傳統語言的流失，近年來，鄒族的語言復振正陸續進行，希望能讓年輕原住民能夠更了解文化，並積極學習傳統語言。
