Born blind with retinal detachment, Xu Zhe-cheng (許哲誠), aka “Adorable Piano Kid,” has never seen the world. But though God deprived him of his eyesight, Xu Zhe-cheng has been blessed with a keen sense of hearing and touch. Since young, Xu Zhe-cheng has been naturally gifted in music with an exceptional ability to differentiate tones and immediately play anything he hears on the piano.

Xu Zhe-cheng's goal in music is neither to flaunt his abilities nor to become famous, but instead to touch people’s hearts. This visually impaired pianist has found meaning in life from the black and white keys, infusing rich color into his dark world through his musical dream.
