Captain Wang Feng visits Nantou furry kids

Nantou Furry Kids Happy Adoption Association (南投毛孩幸福認養會) organizes an adoption event every two months with dogs from the Nantou Animal Shelter. To promote adoption instead of buying animals, Captain Wang Feng (王丰), a prominent animal rights' activist, used his 3-day vacation to attend the event as a special guest.

The event includes a charity bazaar to raise money for Nantou Animal Shelter. Captain Wang Feng personally adopted a stray dog in the hope of promoting the importance of adopting animals instead of buying them. He also hopes that the relevant government departments will begin entering schools to teach children the concept of animal protection, thereby gradually educating the public on how to raise and peacefully coexist with animals. Captain Wang Feng looks forward to the day when animal protection is no longer a mere slogan, but a concrete reality.

南投毛孩幸福認養會，每兩個月都會舉辦法買認養活動，所有的狗都來自於南投收容所。藉由本次活動教育認養代替購買，對於動保不遺餘力的機長王丰，也特別利用這三天的休假來當特別來賓。

活動中並結合義賣捐助南投收容所，王丰機長更親自認養一隻流浪犬，希望大家有需要養狗的，以認養代替購買，同時希望政府相關單位進入校園推廣動物保護的觀念，從小培養孩子動保知識，讓動保不只是口號，也讓民眾了解正確的飼養並與動物和平共處。
