Helping owners say goodbye to furry friends
Currently, the pet population in Taiwan stands at around several million. The companionship that pets provide means that ever more pet owners look upon our furry friends as family members. As pets age, their death naturally becomes an important consideration for many owners. For this reason, a new pet funeral industry has emerged, in which pet funeral directors take care of everything from receiving the corpse and conducting farewells, to cremation and a memorial service, allowing our furry friends to walk this final stage of life in a simple and dignified way.
Pets provide loyal and loving companions throughout our lives, but of course, one day, the lives of our furry friends will naturally come to an end. Regardless of one's views on pet funerals, this current discussion around the life and death of pets is a wonderful opportunity for life education.
