New Blood of Citizen Journalism to Enrich PeoPo Content

Each July and August in the summer vacation, PeoPo raises summer internship courses that attract the participation of roughly 100 university students. The courses, which give interns an introduction to citizen journalism and practical experience in shooting video reports, are a channel for injecting new vitality into the PeoPo platform. 

With the aim of enriching interns’ report content, PeoPo has created a tailor-made course that invites TV anchors, senior media workers, and various teachers to instruct students on the whole gamut of media-related skills, from finding newsworthy stories, interviewing and shooting, to adding voice-over and post-production. Each participant is required to submit 3 reports during the one-month activity period, producing a rich selection of video material from a diverse spectrum of topics. On top of all this, interns even get an opportunity to step into the TV studio and try their hand at anchoring. These annual courses always provide a media banquet for participants and a truly enriching experience for all.

每年暑假是PeoPo舉辦暑期公民記者實習營的時刻，七、八月總共會有大約一百位大學生，透過實習營隊認識甚麼是公民新聞，並且實際拍攝公民報導，也讓PeoPo平台添加了許多新活力。

PeoPo設計一系列媒體相關課程，邀請電視台主播、資深媒體工作者等老師，與同學分享議題尋找、採訪、拍攝、配音、剪接後製等相關技術，希望豐富同學的報導內容，同學在每梯次一個月的活動中，每人會繳出３則公民報導，內容題材包羅萬象，同學也進攝影棚體驗主播播報等活動，學習收穫滿滿。
