Senior citizens exhibit incredible vitality at Taiwan’s first ‘Santa Claus School’

This year, Taiwan Active Aging Association organized ‘Santa Claus Training School’, an intensive training program to transform multi-talented grandmas and grandpas into bona fide Santa Clauses, spreading love and joy during the festival period. Equipped with familiar old songs from yesteryear and vigorous fitness workouts, the Santa Clauses arrived at care centers to encourage the elderly residents to shake their booty and entertain them with a selection of carefully prepared performances. The Santa Claus Training School has provided elderly citizens with the opportunity to exhibit their own unique talents, while at the same time spreading joy through public service and providing more warmth at Christmas.

首創聖誕老人學校 阿公阿嬤大秀活力

高齡化政策暨產業發展協會首辦了聖誕老人培訓學校，透過密集專業的培訓課程，讓多才多藝的阿公阿嬤搖身一變成為合格的聖誕老人，在歡樂的節日裡散播愛心與歡樂。伴唱着熟悉的老歌，活力地跳起健康操，結業的聖誕老人來到托老中心，不但帶動阿公阿嬤一起做運動，還精心準備了許多表演節目一起同樂。聖誕老人學校不僅讓多才多藝的阿公阿嬤能夠發揮所長，還能夠在散播歡樂的同時做公益，為聖誕帶來更多的溫暖。
