Culture meets performing arts: A feast of fire dancing in Blueprint Park

In Tainan’s famous FB check-in location Blueprint Park, the incredible skill of a group of fire dancers has been stopping passers-by in their tracks. By providing a stage for street performers and fostering the emergence of cultural goods, Blueprint Park has played a pivotal role in the renaissance of the cultural and creative industries witnessed in recent years. 

There are literally hundreds of types of street performances, but due to particular venue constraints on fire-dance performances, it is extremely difficult for firedancers to have the luxury of a warm-up space before going on stage. Blueprint Park is an environment that is simply brimming with cultural arts, providing a much-needed stage for street performers; the park’s only stipulation is that all of the performing artists first obtain a street performers’ license.

街頭表演類型百百種，因火舞表演受限於場地的限制，於表演前的準備上非常的不容易，而每位街頭表演者都持有相關的執照，才能進行街頭演出，在文創園區這樣的環境當中，除了孕育文創藝術家之外，更給了街頭表演者一個盡情演出的舞台。
