In the aftermath of Typhoon Nepartak, Haoren Huiguan (好人會館) delivered a collection of relief provisions including rice, furniture, quilts, pillows, and various other items from Taipei to Taitung. Between noon and 1:30 pm on July 7, the supplies were distributed to disaster victims from the Aboriginal Culture Hotel.
Secretary Zeng Yuan-fang (曾遠方) from Taimali Township Office said that the severity of Typhoon Nepartak surpassed than of Typhoon Morakot in 2009. Currently, the disaster recovery effort lacks chainsaws, hydraulic grapple vehicles, and trucks, as well as operating personnel, but so far manpower and resources are adequate. In regard to damaged buildings, Zeng Yuan-fang expressed his hope that Tzu Chi will come to their assistance.
In Xianglan Village on July 12, the former speaker at Taitung County Council Li Chin-huei (李錦慧), said that damage in Taimali from Typhoon Nepartak is ten times more severe than from Typhoon Morakot in 2009. Sugar-apple and betel vine crops, which form the main livelihood of Xianglan villagers, have been completely destroyed by the typhoon; it will take five years to yield a harvest from the newly planted crops, during which time the villagers will have no income. He said that only a relief effort on the same scale as that implemented following the Typhoon Morakot disaster could address the plight of Typhoon Nepartak victims.

尼伯特颱風後續報導
尼伯特颱風後，好人會館勸募救災物資，包括白米、家具、棉被枕頭等物資，從台北運送至台東，於7月10日中午抵達台東原民會館，隨即發放至下午一點半，全部被需求災民取用。
太麻里鄉公所秘書曾遠方表示，這次強烈颱風尼伯特風災比98年的莫拉克還嚴重，目前災區復原工作缺鏈鋸、夾子車、卡車等專業工具及熟手，尚不缺人力、物資。至於受損房舍部分，曾遠方秘書表示希望可以和慈濟合作。
前台東縣議長李錦慧7/12在台東太麻里香蘭村表示：這次強烈颱風尼伯特對太麻里所造成的災害，比98年的莫拉克颱風還嚴重十倍以上。香蘭村居民賴以為生的釋迦和荖花、荖葉全毀於此次風災，復耕後需要長達五年時間才得以有收入。因此他建議：尼伯特風災救助應比照莫拉克模式辦理，這樣才能讓災民生活有所依靠不至陷於困頓。
